	<title>Phillip Cairns</title>
	<link>http://mudsongs.org</link>
<description>Phillip Cairns has been freelancing in the film industry in St. John's, Newfoundland, since 2006 when he directed his first film short, "I Want It All." He works as a sound recordist, an assistant editor, a closed captioning guy --- a little bit of everything. He is a member of NIFCO (the Newfoundland Independent Filmmakers Co-Operative) and he spells his name with two Ls, not one. He also likes this quote from filmmaker, Michel Gondry: "If an idea is good, it's on the verge of being stupid." (Phillip has plenty of stupid ideas, so this gives him hope for his next film.)</description>
