Until Furtherer Notice

November 2nd, 2018: I’m the process of rewriting (or deleting) every single thing I’ve ever posted to this blog. It will likely to take me a long time, especially tracking down all the photos that no longer show up. I’m a one-man band here with a full-time job that isn’t beekeeping or writing about beekeeping (though I wish it was). I’m still aiming for sometime in 2019 to get back to business as usual. It might not be until December 31st in 2019, but sometime in 2019, I’ll be be back. Thanks.

This ole blog, along with its YouTube channel, Twitter feed and Facebook page, has been getting more attention lately. I’ve been asked, “When are you coming back?”

I don’t know.

But here’s the deal for when and if I come back: I’m going to press DELETE and start again. I want to remove some of the earlier posts where I went out of my way to give advice, advice that I know came more from my ego than expertise. I also don’t have it in me to fix a technical glitch that killed the photos from most of the older posts.

So if I come back to this, I’ll be starting from scratch. I don’t expect anything to happen until sometime in 2019.

But thanks for asking.

  1. Sorry to hear you are leaving us. Hope your health has improved. Also hope you still like us here
in the states with all of the crap of our political nation. Take care.

  2. Thanks. I’m not leaving (not yet anyway). It’s an extended hiatus until next year.

My health has improved significantly over the past months, though I think it’s best to keep things low key for a while longer, just to be safe.

I can’t say I’m in love with American politics, but I like all of my American friends.

  3. Your health is paramount, glad you are on the mend. Mudsongs may give you incentive when the
time is right, but take your time. Happy Summer and keep the buzz in your gait!

  4. Thank you so much for allowing us to follow you. As new beekeepers (2013) we have learned a lot from you. We wish you well and look forward to your new adventures in 2019.
